Jeffery S. Stone, M.S., L.M.H.C.
Chief Executive Officer

Thank you for taking the time to explore and understand the scope of great work done by the outstanding and diverse team here at South County Mental Health Center. During my tenure as CEO, I have been impressed by the care and dedication exhibited by the hard-working team across all of our programs. From our inpatient services to our community response teams and to our outpatient teams, our goal is to provide recovery supports for the behavioral health needs of the citizens of Palm Beach County.
South County Mental Health Center, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit, community-based organization that recognizes everyone’s recovery story is unique and highly personal. As such, we work to tailor the individual services that support recovery across a wide spectrum of needs. As a not-for-profit organization, we serve all who come to us seeking assistance regardless of the ability to pay.
So often people are hesitant to seek help for their behavioral health needs due to a persistent stigma towards individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Our team works to remove these barriers and to confront the stigma on a daily basis by promoting acceptance, compassion, and partnership with our clients.
A behavioral health crisis can be as life threatening as any other significant health emergency. Our team of professionals are uniquely qualified to help people navigate what can be a difficult, and at times, frightening period, in his or her life. Our goal is to partner with our clients and to work collectively using his or her own strengths towards achieving their personal recovery.
The challenges in meeting this mission are very real, but through collaboration, teamwork, and goal-directed actions, we at South County Mental Health Center are making a difference each and every day. Our community partnerships with local organizations such as the Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network (SEFBN), the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and many others demonstrates the broad reaching community commitment towards helping those realize recovery.
Let us know what we can do to better assist you. If we do something that doesn’t help, please let us know so we can address it. If we do something helpful, let us know that too.
